The study on Health promotion Behaviors in middle-aged women


Abstract
The study was conducted to find out the health promotion behaviors and general characteristics for 168 middle-aged women.
The questionnaires were collected from January 20. to February 26, 1996.
The collected data were analyzed using SAS, freguencies, percentiles, means, standard deviations, t -test, Anova, Pearson correlation coefficient.
The results of this study were as follows;
1. The average of age in the total subjects was 53.08.
2. The mean score of health promotion behavior was 2.36.
3. Demographic characteristics that significantly influenced health promotion behavior depend on making a good use of spare time.
